HID Poly Tag passive RFID transponders deliver reliable performance in rugged conditions. Each heavy-duty disc is waterproof, chemical and shock resistant, and withstands temperatures up to 266°F (130°C). Housed in high-impact PA6 nylon, they protect electronics for consistent communication with RFID readers. LF Poly Tag discs perform best on plastic or wood surfaces. HF Poly Tag discs provide faster data processing, higher memory, and improved read range, with NFC or HID Trusted Tag® options for secure applications. The yellow Poly-Tag version is flame resistant according to UL 94 V-0 and available with ATEX/IECEX certificates for use in potentially explosive environments of mining, gas, and dust. Blank yellow versions may be laser engraved according to customer’s certifications as needed.
